Welcome back and we hope you all had a fun and relaxing summer break. This week the librarians are off into town for a book buying day so keep an eye out for new books over the next few weeks. We use your suggestions from the end of last year plus our own ideas from our holiday reading as a basis for our buying decisions. No doubt over the holidays you will have read some great stories or discovered a new series so let us know by writing it in the 'Suggestion Book' on the issue desk and we will add it to our buying list. Last year you, the students, borrowed 13.000 books - you are great readers! This year we will again have a variety of author visits, competitions and promotions running in the library and whether you are doing research or reading, we look forward to seeing you.
